Southend will be transformed into a winter wonderland on Saturday 19th November as the countdown to Christmas gets underway.
The Christmas Spectacular and Lights Switch On looks set to be a day packed with free, festive fun and entertainment for all the family.
Enjoy a very special ‘Magical’ parade featuring Santa and his realreindeer, live music courtesy of Heart and a whole host of seasonal sensations, including fantastic steet entertainment, the Christmas lights switch-on and a spectacular fireworks extravaganza!

Join us at the Christmas Spectacular stage located in Victoria Circus for live entertainment from a fantastic variety of acts!
1pm-1.30pm The Royals ‘Magical’ Christmas Parade
Led by the Essex Marching Corps, Santa will arrive drawn by his trusty reindeer! Join in the fun as magical Christmas characters come to town. Starting outside Cafe Nero in the High Street and finishing at The Royals Shopping Centre.
1.45pm-6pm Don’t forget to visit Santa...
Santa will be greeting people on his throne under the glass dome at The Royals Shopping Centre! Tickets available from Debenhams.
4pm-5pm Heart Live
Join Martin and Su from Heart Breakfast for entertainment on stage throughout the afternoon culminating in the Christmas Lights Switch On at 5pm.
5.30pm Spectacular Seafront Fireworks Finale
