Basingstoke Man in Cliff Death
A man from Basingstoke has died after falling 50 metres down a cliff while on holiday in Cornwall with his family.
The 52-year-old from Hampshire was airlifted to the Royal Cornwall Hospital, Truro, but pronounced dead on arrival.
He fell from cliffs while out walking at Mullion on the Lizard Peninsula, south Cornwall, at about 7pm yesterday, May 5.
His wife and two children, both aged 12, were present during what is believed to have been a tragic accident, Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed today.
