Swimmer who tied NCAA race with Lia Thomas BLASTS Biden for pushing to strip back Title IX
A college swimmer who tied with transgender athlete Lia Thomas in an NCAA race has blasted Joe Biden for proposing to change national sports policies to let trans athletes compete against biological women.
Riley Gaines, a 2022 graduate of the University of Kentucky, tied with Thomas for fifth place in the 200-yard freestyle NCAA championships in March.
Since then, Gaines has been outspoken in her opposition to Thomas' presence in women's races, even condemning the NCAA for nominating her as the Female Athlete of the Year.

Man dies in North Wales floods
A man has died after his body was found near a car that was overcome by flood water when a river burst its banks in north Wales.
Robert Evans, 52, from the the Llandrillo area, near Corwen was found dead on Sunday morning.
Police are not treating the death as suspicious and inquiries are continuing on behalf of the Coroner.
Police say it is still too early to say what happened for certain but they think the man was the driver of the car found nearby.
